This kitchen was completed in the Fall of 2009. The cabinetry is Wellborn's Sonoma door style in Maple. The finish is Mocha Creme, an off-white paint with a mocha glaze. The homeowner asked us to relocate the door to the sunroom in order to extend the countertop area in the kitchen and make room for the peninsula/breakfast bar. This also allowed plenty of wall space for the dramatic seven-foot slider window to be installed, which really brings the outdoors into this beautiful kitchen. The countertop is DuPont Zodiaq quartz material.

New Shaker style cabinets in Maple with a soft Sable finish gave this kitchen a modern, updated look. Elegant granite countertops, ceramic tile backsplash, crown and light rail molding with under cabinet lighting provided the finishing touches. Custom built-in shelving added extra storage and display space on either side of the angled doorway into the kitchen. The new pantry area with wine rack and plenty of drawers replaced an out-dated closet with bi-fold doors.

A large kitchen and dining area were made possible by replacing an old, poorly built addition on a historic Wenonah home. The cabinetry is a simple Shaker design with an off-white painted finish. The kitchen features an island for work space and casual seating in a contrasting warm brown finish. Matte finished black granite countertops complete the under-stated look. The kitchen also has a wet bar and is an added focal point. The dining area features a custom furniture look sideboard for additional storage and was constructed of matching cabinetry to tie in with the kitchen.

This 1950’s contemporary in Haddon Heights has lots of beautiful eye-catching wood on the interior as well as exterior wood siding. The kitchen called for a modern look that still reflected the mid-50s contemporary design features. The homeowners chose to go with a stream-lined slab door and drawer style called Barcelona in oak . Barcelona has a unique horizontal grain and the cabinets were finished in a warm brown color called Sable. Adding to the modern feel was a zero radius stainless undermount sink and stainless rod style pulls for both doors and drawers. The Countertop also has a modern, somewhat industrial look with its monochromatic dark gray color (Caesarstone Raven). Backsplash tile is a partially translucent, oversized, glass subway tile. The appliances consist of 48” Wolf range and hood for the serious cook, a Sub-Zero refrigerator and a Sharp drawer type microwave.

The kitchen was relocated from its original smaller space to what had been a casual dining/ breakfast room. The original kitchen area became the pantry area with extra storage, a dry bar and a casual seating space.

This new construction home is in Haddonfield, NJ. We worked with the homeowner on the design and cabinetry choices and with their builder on the installation. Cabinetry was supplied for the kitchen, home office, mud room and bathrooms. We consider the kitchen a transitional design. Although the Montery door style is a bit classic with it raised panel the mitered corners and beaded center panels give it a more contemporary look. Fun, bold new colors and modern accessories were added to give the area a more up to date look. The colors are Divinity and a contrasting Bleu on the unusually shaped island.

Home office and bathroom are a mixture of other door styles and finish colors.
